A Year In Review at Tiffin: 2023
As the year comes to a close, we would like to reflect on 2023 at Tiffin. It has been a year filled with constant preservation, evolution and growth. From company changes to new product launches, we put together the top ten milestones of Tiffin Motorhomes in 2023.
1. Launch of the Class C Midas
In January of 2023, we launched the Class C Midas. This gas-powered coach is built on a Ford® 350 HD AWD Chassis, and boasts a 310 HP Gas Engine. With the amenities of a coach bus and maneuverability of a camper van, the Midas is the sweet spot for any lifestyle and any life stage, whether you’re a family with young kids, downsizing empty-nesters or somewhere in between.
Being Tiffin’s most nimble Class C coach; the Midas is built for you to go and do, but designed for you to stay and be.
2. Successful Show Season
In 2023, we showcased our newest Tiffin models at many RV and dealer shows all over the country. We partnered with LazyDays RV at the Florida RV SuperShow to show off our latest updates for each model. The star of the show was our redesigned Zephyr, turning many heads and even forming a line outside just to walk in and see it. We hosted the First Annual Tampa Pre-Show Dinner with Bob and Leigh Tiffin, giving owners the chance to ask questions and hear Bob and Leigh speak on the state of the company. In September, we partnered with Colton RV at America's Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania to showcase our newest 2024 models, some of which had not been seen before. Also in September, we made our way to Elkhart, Indiana: the heart of the RV industry. We attended Thor Industries’ Open House to give attending dealers the opportunity to take a closer look at 2024 models. We attended dozens of smaller dealer shows throughout the year, and we’re looking forward to the busy show season that is ahead of us. Hope to see you at one!
3. An Enhancement to the PowerGlide Chassis
In March, Tiffin Motorhomes and Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) embarked on an innovative partnership, giving rise to the next evolution of Tiffin's renowned PowerGlide Class A diesel chassis. This collaboration not only preserves PowerGlide's esteemed legacy of exclusive engineering and design but also enhances the overall customer experience by tapping into Freightliner's extensive nationwide service and parts distribution centers, collaborative engineering resources, and premium components tailored exclusively for Tiffin.
Leigh Tiffin, expressing the core philosophy shared by both companies, stated, "The customer has always been at the center of what we do at Tiffin, just like it has been at FCCC." Through this strategic alliance, Tiffin can continue the development of a custom-built chassis seamlessly integrating into their RVs, ensuring an incredibly luxurious and distinctive experience for RV enthusiasts. The chassis will be manufactured by FCCC and Tiffin will collaborate on the design. The unveiling of the new chassis will be in January, 2024 at the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa.
4. Successful 2023 Allegro Club Rallies
The Allegro Club wrapped up a successful year of rallies in Lake Wales, Florida; Amana, Iowa; and Essex Junction, Vermont. The Florida Rally drew an impressive crowd of over 750 Tiffin Owners, and 50% of attendees at the Vermont Rally were first-timers. These gatherings not only provide great opportunities to connect with fellow Tiffin owners but also offer engaging learning seminars and fun activities for everyone to enjoy. As we reflect on the past year, we eagerly anticipate what 2024 holds for the Allegro Club, and we're thrilled about next year's rallies!
5. Changes at the Service Center
In 2023, The service center officially became 'The Bob Tiffin Service Center'. Bob Tiffin started this business on the premises of customer service, so naming the service center after him was a no brainer. Many additions to the Bob Tiffin Service Center took place this year. The unveiling of a dog park was a huge hit amongst pets and their owners giving them a fenced-in area to run around. A new call center has allowed us to better address customer inquiries, and ensure a seamless experience. We made improvements to our parts warehouse, optimizing layout, ensuring an efficient fulfillment and shipping process. The Bob Tiffin Service Center also added a full service mechanic shop for all your mechanical needs, including oil changes, chassis inspections, generator service, and much more! In October, we brought Winfield service operations to the Bob Tiffin Service Center, allowing all Tiffin Motorhomes' products to be serviced at one location. The Bob Tiffin Service Center is committed to helping Tiffin owners when the need arises!
6. New General Manager Positions
As our ongoing commitment to the company's success and growth, we made a few leadership transitions in 2023 that will further align our organizational structure, including three new General Manager positions to oversee Class A, Class B, and Class C operations. These three leaders are dedicated to the growth and success of the company and we are excited to see them thrive in their new roles!

Former Role: Warehouse Manager
New Role: General Manager, Class A
Jamie Myrick
Former Role: VP of Operations
New Role: General Manager, Class B
Zack Nethery
Former Role: Director of Operations
New Role: General Manager, Class C
7. The Allegro Club General Store
In August, The Tiffin General Store transitioned over to the Tiffin Allegro Club. This change was made to allow for a more convenient location of the General Store for owners at the Bob Tiffin Service Center while their coach is being serviced. The Allegro Club General Store also launched it's online store in October, which continues to be a huge success.
8. Launched a New "Evolve" Strategy
In 2023, we adopted the 'Preserve. Evolve. Grow.' strategy in an effort to make Tiffin Motorhomes a better company each and every day. President Leigh Tiffin describes this strategy as preserving the legacy of his grandfather, Bob Tiffin, while evolving for the future to better serve the needs of our growing customer base. Leigh gives an overview in this video on a few things to expect in the future, regarding owner feedback, quality control, and the release of new products.
9. Launch of the Class A Byway
In September, we launched a new Class A model, The Byway, replacing the Allegro RED 340. This 340 HP diesel debuts as our most affordable diesel and has three floor plans to choose from. Since its unveiling, the Byway has become a double-award-winning coach within the RV industry. RV News titled the Byway 38 CL the "Type A Diesel Motorhome of the Year", and RV Business awarded it as the "Must see RV" for 2024.
10. Factory Delivery Program
The Factory Delivery Program made its debut at the end of November. This program is a special delivery option on ordered Zephyrs that is performed by Tiffin Motorhomes personnel. This exclusive and dedicated team walks the new owner through each and every component of their Zephyr and explains why things work in the coach the way they do. The Factory Delivery Program will provide you with what we hope will be the best coach delivery experiences ever.
