Deep Dive: 32 SA Floor Plan

The Open Road Allegro offers five floor plans: 32 FA, 32 SA, 34 PA, 36 LA, 36 UA. Each shares common attributes, while diverging on features meant to appeal to various owner preferences and needs.

For the purposes of this floor plan spotlight, we’ve put our focus on the Open Road’s 32 SA floor plan. We start with the plan’s living area arrangement.

In the first image above, you’ll notice the dinette booth is situated beside the air coil sofa bed. Both are across from the kitchen, pictured in the second image, which creates a convenient and easy transition from cooking to dining.

Yet, the Open Road’s living space is ample enough that neither area makes the other feel cramped. Using the oven and 3-burner optional cooktop range is easy given the space in front, and the galley countertop is well suited for meal prep. The focus on ample living space, and the freedom to move and work without space restriction, extends to the double-bowl stainless steel sink with a modern faucet.

Adjacent to the coach’s kitchen is the Smart TV with optional fireplace. Angling outward just enough to make viewing natural from the sofa bed and booth dinette, the arrangement is optimal for watching TV while you’re lounging on the sofa or sitting down for a meal at the dinette booth.

Before moving on to the 32 SA’s master bedroom and bath, take a look at the driver’s compartment and its optional, drop-down bunk, pictured below. The bunk is out of sight when it’s not needed, but available for additional sleeping accommodations when you do.

The master bedroom is in the coach’s rear section, while the mid-section split-bath makes it easy to access the restroom when the Open Road’s slides are in. The other benefit is, again, all about access and convenience. But this time it’s access to the bathroom even if the shower is occupied.

The master bedroom has received several new arrangements to accommodate a much-anticipated option for 2022: the washer/dryer combo. The optional washer/dryer combo will occupy the bedroom driver-side area that once featured the TV, vanity and emergency egress window.

Meanwhile, the emergency egress window is repositioned behind the bed, and the master bedroom’s TV and entertainment cabinetry shifts to the rear wall, similar to the arrangement featured in the Open Road floor plan 34 PA. For added convenience, the TV swings out when the slides are out, creating optimum viewing from the master bed.

When the washer/dryer isn’t selected as an add-on, the space will feature additional storage with shelving, which comes standard.
